I'm glad to see something a lower level can obtain. (I don't mean me.)

Got 8 charr hides in two short solo trips and a bonus of 23 char carvings.

took one of my mules (the one who normally has charr stuff and gargoyle skulls etc) to do the charr quests around there...got another 7 hides from that alone....and today I finally got something nice from nic:
1 ascalon razor
plus the usual:
10 mysterious summoning stones, 5 red rock candy, 5 cottontale tonics....now to do this on my other account!

For the people who are still farming/ need to start. May I suggest Flame Temple Corridor. I got 5 hides in about 10 minutes there, and its easy to zone to Dragon's Gullet and back for a reset. Nolani didn't give me anything and running around in the Breach gave me 2 hides and alot of Carvings.

grabbed my ele solo nm ranik miss got 15 hides. got crap 10 green rock candy,10 honey combs and 20 sparklers. meh

last time i was in pikenthey had 8 districts. american ones thou

To easy and all this time i been saving and converting the char hides into Fur Squares in Ascalon from caalissa.
So had about a stack on me anyway

plus stacks of char carvings for events trades.

Had 20 Hides in storage so was nice and easy for my 4 accounts this week

Nothing good again though

Still not had anything other than consumables from him.

Only thing other than consumables I have gotten was a Gwen Chan doll. Cute, but I really really want a Professor Yakkington. ::crosses fingers:: Hoping for better luck when I can get in game after work tonight.

Ah the good old days, I really miss them.
Also Wintersday 2005, lots of people were farming here to get charr hides or outside of town to get gargoyle skulls.

Was the first month worth of gifts just really good drops or something?

It's the longest it took to find Nicolas this week, 1hr15mins...

It's hard to believe it is such an easy farm this week. ANet must have realised last week was a flop in that it took some grind for 15 scalps for the gifts.
Or maybe they saw less people making effort for the Traveller last week?
Or maybe they do not want the gifts to become another trading commodity, i.e. 10 gifts for obby edge, etc. but rather trying to reduce the value and introducing easy farms.

This week is definitely not on par with last week, is one thing I can say though.

so far the only worthy to mention items i've got on past weeks are a bo staff, a vampiric dragon sword and 2 kegs

I think some people were confused the other day when they went scalp hunting at Bergen Hot Springs, I got to just sit there and watch how many people were going after the wrong type.
